Mission
The reason vetren was created
Vetren is a veteran-owned technology company, registered non-profit and licensed United States government contractor, founded by Jasper Orr, a Marine Corps veteran stationed in San Diego, California. The concept started in 2009 when he realized there wasn’t an easy way to swap duties with other Marines.
He came up with an idea called 24hourdutyswap and promoted it to his command. Unfortunately, the people in charge didn’t like it, resulting in him receiving a page 11 (write up) and even more duties than he previously had. Like any good Marine, when they see trouble it makes them fight harder. Thus, vetren was born and has evolved into something much bigger than he could have ever imagined.
The battle for veteran benefits
Before we were a team of engineers and experts, we were warriors. 100% of vetren’s employees are veterans, specializing in distributed systems infrastructure, big data processing, user experience design and data science.
Our slogan, “The battle for veteran benefits,” speaks for itself. The veteran community is one of the most underserved communities in the US. It’s easy to see why some veterans feel tossed aside now that their service has been completed. Enter vetren. We promise to fight for your benefits, liberty, and justice for all.
Building an entire company around a mission
Our focus is precise and mission uncompromisable. Vetren strives to help veterans succeed by getting the help they need in every aspect of their life. Combining veteran data and automation allows for our mission’s implantation through artificial intelligence.
At vetren, we are committed to using our expertise and fighting for you. Join us on our mission to make a difference in the lives of those that started the fight for us, our veterans.
